Today I am starting the 2020 season of the Wanderings Podcast with a very very special guest. His name is Dan Hecho and he is not only one of my favorite photographer but also one of the top Ukrainian artists focusing on fine art nudes.
Dan started as a painter and today he is a world-class photographer with a very unique and painterly style. Everything from his posing of models, his use of light, his color manipulations, everything helps create harmony and beauty, and he has been sharing his knowledge and signature style in workshops all over the world.
I remember when I first purchased one of his courses, back when I was in Toronto and thinking that his style was so amazing, and it was such an honor to sit with him in Kiev, at the great F11 Studio, and learn more about his inspiration and approach to creating art and beauty.
I am very excited to get consistent with my podcast and share the stories of all these amazing people who inspire my work in photography and music.
Also, I’ve been very consistently sharing my thoughts on a variety of subjects on my daily podcast, Creative Walks, on short solo episodes recorded during walks around the city. Check it out here.
In this episode Pedro talks about developing rituals, habits and routines inspired by the practice of making art and the interactions with different world cultures.
