On the first day of the year, I was lucky to come across this phrase by Dostoyevski, mentioned on Lex Fridman podcast: “Beauty will save the world.” (“Красота спасёт мир”, in Russian, a language I am struggling to learn.)
As an artist, this quote really resonates. The first thing I wrote on my new notebook of ideas and projects, even before learning of this great line, was: “Go on. Make beautiful things”.
